Nikki Finke over at Deadline Hollywood Daily is "unofficially" (It's official!) reporting that Marvel Studios has struck a "definitely" richer deal with Jon Favreau for Iron Man 2.
Marvel was quick to announce a sequel after Iron Man released to major critical acclaim and bank, but was not so quick to offer Favreau the directors chair. The release date is apparently still set for 2010, making us wonder if Favreau will have enough time to develop the film as extensive and thoughtful as he wants to?
But for now, this is great news!
