The Godfather asks Blu-ray for a favor!

This is a post for a special reader of ours. He is the only person I know who has a Blu-ray player, and he is not afraid to use it. I knew this would tickle his fancy!

The Godfather Collection: The Coppola Restoration is finally making its way to Blu-ray on September 23. This new set includes all the bonus material from the previous collection as well as entirely new features and bonuses.

Paramount is releasing a 5 disc DVD set for $72.99, or each individual DVD for $19.99 each.

The Blu-ray versions will not be sold separately, but rather as a 4 disc set for $119.99.

The Blu-ray transfer was personally overseen by Coppola and will be presented in 1080p.
